A downloadable game for Windows
Had to rush this one out before halloween is over, so its really rough.
This was rushed through the past ~5 days on limited time.

WASD to move
Shift to run
Ctrl to crouch (you can run while crouching)
F to pick up candy and the gun
Hold right mouse to aim with the gun,
Left click to shoot it
You only have one shot! Make it count
The music and stinger starts very shortly before he sees you. You have a window of ~1 second to react and hide before he starts chasing. He's faster than you so try to memorize all the garages and hiding spots and stick close to them. Candy is hidden in corners and backyards, check everything.

Install instructions
Open the CANDY CUTTER Update 2.rar file, drag CANDY CUTTER to your desktop (or wherever you want) and then click the CANDY SLASHER.exe to run the game.

Any updates on this? I love this game and it stayed in my memory for this year.
really happy to hear that. i have plans for a candy cutter 2 and 3, pretty sure 2 will come release this halloween but i dont wanna make any promises
Strategy. Just collect candy and hide, there is no map just do it.
i have an image of the map and his patrol points in my discord somewhere. the patrol points are random but helpful to know. but yeah collecting candy and hiding is the way to go
got a NEW GAME coming around may 30th, maybe sooner maybe later. Look out for that if youre interested
I finally beat it!
Such a silly game, i love it. Like the kid obviously knows there is a killer and he values and tries to search for candy on the halloween night. It doesn't take focus on graphics, on the story, you don't think about that while playing. The game is just fun to play, it is very fun and i highly recommend it.

it took around 5 days more or less. most of the time was spent on the map and making all the map assets. and i used an asset called "game creator" to make it without coding as i had barely any time left for the halloween deadline. started really late on this sadly, so a lot of features and ideas didnt make it.
